ZBrush Summit brought a fair amount of interesting interviews with leading digital artists who shared their professional tips, tricks, and techniques with the ZBrush community. One of the guests is a Figurative sculptor who is based in the film and game industry Ran Manolov. He has worked with studios such as BLUR Studios, Blizzard Ent., Industrial Light & Magic, MPC, Framestore, Untold Studios, and more.
At ZBrush Summit 2022, Ran shared his sculptural knowledge and revealed how ZBrush helped him grow and expand his opportunities. He also showcases some of his work for Diablo II: Resurrection, Love Death & Robots, Hellboy: Blood Queen Rises, and also some fine art personal pieces.
Ran Manolov is currently operating as VFX/Character Supervisor. One of the themes that he talked about is how to stay active as an artist while supervising, and what keeps him pulling toward art.

Ran Manolov is a figurative sculptor living and working in London. His work combines the classicism of shape and form while being imbued with emotion. He uses various techniques, allowing him to focus more on the storytelling side and treatment of form. While using all the traditional tools, he grew to know the digital ones too. Over the years, Ran worked in various studios such as BLUR Studios, Blizzard Ent., Industrial Light & Magic, MPC, Framestore, Untold Studios, and more.
